Niles Troop 112

Based at Niles Discovery Church, Troop 112 is boy-led and adult-supported. Scouts are in charge of planning meetings, campouts, hikes, service projects, and troop and patrol activities. As we are a smaller troop, there are plenty of ways to get involved in leadership roles required for rank advancement. In addition, we make Board of Advancement opportunities available regularly so scouts are not delayed in their advancement. 

Troop 112 scouts prioritize having fun as they learn, keeping them engaged and wanting to be active participants. In addition to monthly campouts and epic summer camp adventures, they’ve enjoyed hiking, orienteering, biking around the Bay Area, assisting with Eagle Scout projects, spinning signs at our annual Mr. Mikey’s parking lot fundraiser, community service projects, and competing with other troops at Camporee.

Troop 112 is incredibly proud that our troop has consistently empowered boys to advance in their ranks to earn the prestigious honor of Eagle Scout, helping them stand out on college applications and become great leaders. With ample opportunities for rank advancement and leadership roles, our scouts are not only prepared for fundamentals in life, but also for being successful on their journey into college and adulthood.
