Based at Niles Discovery Church, Troop 112 is boy-led and adult-supported. Scouts are in charge of planning meetings, campouts, hikes, service projects, and troop and patrol activities. As we are a smaller troop—around 25 scouts—there are plenty of ways to get involved in leadership roles, which are required for rank advancement. 

In addition to monthly campouts and epic summer camp adventures, our troop enjoys hiking, orienteering, biking around the Bay Area, assisting with Eagle Scout projects, spinning signs at our annual Mr. Mikey’s parking lot fundraiser, community service projects, and competing with other troops at Camporee.

Nope! Previous scouting experience is not required. The troop will guide scouts in learning the fundamentals of scouting and help them 

Yes! We are so grateful to have the continued support of Mr. Mikey's in Niles! This local business gives us the opportunity to manage parking in their lot during the Antique Fair. Boys work in shifts to offer paid parking to fair attendees.

We may also choose to participate in other fundraisers from year to year depending on the needs of the troop and scouts. Fundraisers have included popcorn and wreath sales.
